Audio Description Project. How to allow blind and partially sighted viewers to have a better movie experience.

3107
Cesar is a sound engineering student. He is currently working on his dissertation in which he explores the nature of audio description services on Science-fiction films and the features within that could allow blind and partially sighted viewers to have a better interpretation of the visual elements through sound design.
His aim is to establish whether a specially produced aural version of a film could be used as the original soundtrack to replace or assist with audio description.

He is currently looking for participants that would like to be part of this research in order to measure the effectiveness of the alternatives implemented within a 10 minutes short-film.
If you are an Audio description user and would like to help him to find proper conclusion for his paper, you only will have to answer a short survey that normally last 20 minutes. Your participation will be completely anonymous and your won’t be named in any form on the final report (unless you explicitly ask for your name to be mentioned)

The questionnaire consist of 3 parts which contains question about you as an audio description user and your feedback on some of the new alternatives implemented on the movie, which I believe could enhance the immersion and interpretation of the visual elements portrayed within films. Some of the alternatives include: 3D sound, Audio Introduction, Character sound perspective and sound design enhancement.

If you would like to help him you just need to complete the following questionnaires on SurveyMonkey:
